Following a competition involving 18 national and international developers, Urban Capital, together with Dublin-based Redquartz Limited, has won the right to develop the first phase of Waterfront Toronto’s West Don Lands redevelopment, called River Square. This approximately 1,000 unit LEED Gold development will be located on a 3.8 acre parcel across from the new 18 acre $15 million Don River Park, now under construction along the west bank of the Don River.
Urban Capital’s design team includes multiple award winning Montreal-based Saucier + Perrotte Architects, Toronto-based ZAS Architects and Boston-based StossLU Landscape Architects, together with Enermodal Engineering, one of Canada’s top LEED Consultants.
