The St. Lawrence Marketplace neighborhood – located west of Jarvis Street, between King Street East and the Esplanade – is known for its unique and vivid architectural style. The St. Lawrence Market is one of two major markets in Toronto (the other being Kensington Market) offers fresh food and a variety of goods. Some of the original factories of the area have been converted into lofts, and a number of new condominium developments are being built here.
